Tristan’s Dog Care is a small family run business, based just outside Swaffham in the glorious Norfolk Countryside.
Until recently I was working in a busy office, practising law, with aspirations of living in the countryside and working with dogs.
I am now very fortunate and able to realise my dream, and wish to dedicate my energy, time and passion into working with dogs.
At Tristan’s Dog Care we are reliable and trustworthy and willing to try and help you with your dog, either while you are at work, out for the day or going on holiday. It may be that circumstances arise that mean that you are unable to care for your dog for a while, and have no-one else who can help.
We are fully insured and registered with NARPS UK (The National Association of Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters).
Services we provide include (but aren’t limited to) dog walking, doggy day care involving having dogs at my home during the day while you are at work or away from your home. We are also able to provide accommodation for one or two small dogs at the moment for boarding while you are away for the weekend or on holiday for longer. Please get in touch for further information.
We also provide a collect and return service where we can pick up your four legged friend in the morning and bring them back to you at the end of the day, or alternatively you may wish to bring and collect your dog yourself. We are fortunate enough to have a large secure garden and have access to a park and open countryside for beautiful long walks.
We discuss with you all your dog’s needs in order to make their stay here as comfortable as possible and we can assure you that any dog at Tristan’s Dog care would be looked after as if it were my own.
I have been married 30 years and have only had two dogs in that time, as they were both 15 when they died! The first was a grumpy Basset Hound who was quite difficult and unpredictable to care for, but our second dog, Tristan, was a Jack Russell X who was a funny little chap, full of life and enjoyed his walks and playing with toys and balls. We unfortunately lost Tristan in December 2017 and he has left a huge void in our hearts and home.
We will open our home to another dog in due course, as we simply cannot perceive being without a dog (or dogs) for long. To me, a kitchen is not a kitchen without a dog bed, and a sofa looks lost without a dog sprawled upon it.
So if we can be of any help to you and your dog, whether it be walking, day care or boarding, then please give us a call or fill out the form below and we’ll be delighted to talk about your requirements.
